YF 2008

Hi all..ok..this is my first time blogging!..(can you believe it?!)...haha.

Wishing all of you a Blessed New Year!

As we go into 2008, there will be new challenges and more people coming to the YF (more additions to this photo!). ..already we have Audrey..hopefully Deborah can come too. Let's strive together to be more Christ-like this new year and to be more committed to serving the Lord with all our abilities and talents =)

Continue to remember to pray for one another, especially for Faith who will be in Beijing and Joshua in the army.

Here's the rough schedule for next year, as discussed last night, with the occasional very hilarious anecdote from Rachel, haha.

Jan 5th, 19th: Providence of God (Israelites in the wilderness)

Feb 2nd, 16th: 10 Commandments

Mar 1st, 15th, 29th: Ark of the Covenant
Tabernacle (and its symbolism)

Apr 12th, 26th: the different types of offerings and its meanings
the Golden Calf incident

May 10th, 24th: Levitical Laws (i.e. dietary law)
Levitical priesthood and its significance today
Nadab & Abihu (sons of Aaron) devoured by fire

June 7th, 21st: Welcome back BBQ for Faith :)

The above schedule might be subject to changes, but we should try to follow it as much as we can.

Location is still Narisa's; and when Josh finally shifts to his new place, it will be at Josh's.
