Vesak Day outing

here are some photos of the outing. We went to 3 places. It was very hot but really interesting.

Most of the farm is lettuce which is grown for commercial purposes. the other plants are just for show.

One the way to Bollywood Veggie farm After elder Ng announces that lunch is nasi lemak, there is a rather inappropriate round of applause.
We had lunch and games here. After which the people who were hot returned to the bus (~two-thirds), while the rest decided to stick it out in the sun and look at fruit.

Upon returning to the bus, those who had stayed in the bus gave a round of applause for those who had walk aorund in the midday heat.

For our last destination, we went to Acres wildlife rescue centre, which was not open yet so i only took pictures of empty cages.

these cages have 2 chambers that can be separated so they can keep the animal in one section while they clean the other half.
